Originally from Texas, I graduated from The University of Texas with a BA in English and an MA in Communications and then set off on an exciting career in advertising and marketing living around the US and Europe. 

I wrote a book called Brain Surfing The Top Marketing Strategy Minds in the World that chronicles the year I spent traveling the world to work with top strategists while living with them and their families. 

Along the way, the stress and high heels started to get to me and I began to pull my eyebrow hair and grind my teeth. By my mid-thirties, I had developed a large fibroid and had an open abdominal surgery to remove it. This led to pain in my shoulder and hip that would not go away and began to limit my life.

I felt old and hated it! I had to do something as I was spending lots of money on chiropractors, physical therapists, and massage therapists, but it wasn't getting better.

What did I do? I went to massage school and graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2020. This was where I discovered CranioSacral therapy to release trapped emotions and repattern my brain to get rid of my pain for good.

I am now a certified CranioSacral therapist through the Upledger Institute and have pursued additional training to work with children.

I recently moved to the Santa Cruz area and enjoy daily grounding with walks on the beach.

I also love to keep moving with GYROKINESIS® exercise (I'm a certified trainer), Functional Patterns (I'm a certified trainer), and I am writing my next book.
